We Need You!

As we gear up for another exciting season, the Midlothian Panther Football Booster Club is looking for dedicated parent volunteers. Check back at the end of this season to see what positions are available.

Our program thrives because of the dedication of our players, coaches, and—most importantly—our amazing Panther parents! Volunteering on the Booster Board is a great way to stay involved, support our athletes, and help continue the Panther Football legacy. Plus, you'll build lasting friendships and be part of something truly special!

How You’d Contribute

You'll never miss your child's game. Booster Club commitments will never take you away from cheering on your player—we promise!

Team effort is key. All board members pitch in on a rotating basis to help in the concession stand and spirit trailer.

We understand life is busy. We're all volunteers with full-time jobs, and we respect your time. There are no unrealistic expectations—just a shared commitment to support our athletes.

We’re here for the kids. We love our players, believe in this football program, and are dedicated to making it even better for future generations.

Your voice matters. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and welcome you to the team!

“Your son only gets one high school football experience—make the most of it. Being an active, engaged Booster Club member not only enhances your family's journey but also strengthens the entire program. The most successful football programs thrive on dedicated parents who show up, support, and make a difference.”

- Doug Wendel

WHY DO WE DO IT?

“Football creates team players. Panther Football creates men. There is no better organization to be part of for me and my family.”

— Brad Kemp, Director of Commerce 2024 & 2025 Seasons (Father of Carson Kemp #17, varsity c/o 2026)

“Having two sons go through the Panther Football program, I've seen firsthand the brotherhood that this team builds—one that extends far beyond the field. I’m incredibly grateful for the life lessons my boys have learned through this program: discipline, resilience, teamwork, and heart. Serving on the Booster Club Board has given me a unique perspective and allowed me to support not just my sons, but so many of these boys who have become family. I love them as my own, and being ‘Momma Pope’ to this team is one of the greatest honors of my life.”

— Kristen Pope Lange, Treasurer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 Seasons (Mom to Jared Pope #23 varsity c/o 2026, and Jackson Pope #18 c/o 2024)

“Behind every football player… is a mom who loved him first.”

— Eryka Higton, Spirit Director 2025 and 2026 seasons (Mom to Brenden Jackson varsity #10 c/o 2028)

“I joined the booster club board because I wanted to play and active role in supporting and strengthening the MHS football program. I have enjoyed every minute spent brainstorming, planning, organizing, decorating, cheering, laughing and watching our boys play the game they love. If you have some time and enthusiasm to spare, and love frequent group text, please consider joining us as a board member.”

— Nicole Parker, Secretary 2025 and 2026 seasons (Mom to varsity #70 Clayton Parker c/o 2027)

“Supporting the name of the front of the jersey and caring for the names on the back — that’s what the booster club is all about.”

— Royce Haltom, President 2026 Season, Vice President 2025 Season (Dad to Dylan Haltom, varsity #12, c/o 2028)

“I am a booster board member to encourage our players and be involved in the community. Also, helping the program raise money helps enhance the experience for our players. I want to support my son in what he’s passionate about, which is football. Go Panthers!”

— Jennifer Smith, Spirit Director 2024 (Mom to varsity #64 Courtney Olivera c/o 2025)

“Having the privilege of three athletes benefiting from the program, I really wanted to be more involved and give back to a program that has been such a big part of our lives.”

— Jimmy Day, President 2024 Season, Vice President 2023 Season (Dad to James Day #15 c/o 2024, Kayden Day #6 c/o 2026, and Paxton c/o 2026)
